Owen R. O'Neill, MD
Owen O’Neill, MD grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Thomas before it was a university. He received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic. He went on to do a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. He has attained a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine and continues to pursue training in the newest orthopedic techniques. Dr. O’Neill is married with two teenage sons who keep him on his toes both on the golf course and on the ski slopes.

Alyssa joined Twin Cities Orthopedics in 2011 and began working with Dr. O'Neill in 2013. She lives in Savage with her husband and daughter. Alyssa takes care of many things for the O'Neill team including answering patient phone calls, scheduling tests, assisting Dr. O'Neill in clinic, and coordinating Dr. O'Neill's surgery schedule. She is happy to answer any questions you might have. If you need surgery, she will walk you through all the steps and take good care of you.

Jessie Donovan joined Twin Cities Orthopedics in 2010 and works exclusively with Dr. O'Neill both in clinic and in the operating room. Her responsibilities include assisting in surgery, hospital rounds, discharge planning, patient education, conducting history and physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, and writing prescriptions. She can always be found helping Dr. O’Neill see his patients in the office.
She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She completed her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at Western University of Health Science in California. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants.
