Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO) has always been committed to being the leader in providing high quality orthopedic care to our patients.

We recently received results of the HealthPartners 2008 Specialty Satisfaction Survey in Orthopedics. Twin Cities Orthopedics stood out as the leader in providing quality orthopedic care in the community.

The 2008 Orthopedics survey included results from 15 Orthopedic groups in the metro area. Respondents included current HealthPartners members, both adult and child, who saw an orthopedist in a clinic setting between May 1 and December 19, 2007.

Highlights from the 2008 HealthPartners Specialty Satisfaction Survey in Orthopedics:

• TCO received the highest quality rating of four stars for orthopedic care.
   
• TCO received the highest quality rating of four stars for the efficient use of generic medication and the explanation about medication side effects.
   
• We were one of two orthopedic groups reporting no negative replies to the question, "The overall quality of care and service you received from your Orthopedist.’
   
• Over 94% of the patients surveyed would recommend their Twin Cities Orthopedics physician to family members or friends.
   
• 80% of our specialty areas including surgical and non-surgical care were high performers or more efficient than average in terms of cost.
   
• All of the patients surveyed felt their Orthopedist and staff listened to them.
   
• Three-fourths of the patients surveyed felt they were somewhat to much better as a result of being treated by their Twin Cities Orthopedics physician.
   
• 85% of the patients surveyed felt they were more active following the treatment by their Twin Cities Orthopedics physician.
