Twin Cities Orthopedics Announces Partnership with Hegenes Management on new Edina Orthopedic Center of Excellence
Minneapolis, Minn. (April 7, 2009) – Twin Cities Orthopedics Edina Property Company announced today the partnership with Hegenes Properties on a new building venture in Edina. The facility is slated to be a 75,000 square foot Orthopedic Center of Excellence located at West 65th Street between France Avenue and Valley View Road.
The new facility has plans to include a clinic, physical therapy, hand therapy, MRI, surgery center, orthotics, prosthetics and Med-X. Upon the completion of the building, Twin Cities Orthopedics will be able to bring together physicians and services that they currently offer at multiple separate locations throughout Edina and surrounding communities.
“We are excited to bring all of our Edina entities under one roof,” said Troy Simonson, administrator of Twin Cities Orthopedics. “Twin Cities Orthopedics has been serving the Edina community for over 75 years, but we’ve been fragmented. The new building will allow us to provide exceptional efficient patient care by offering the full continuum of state-of-the-art orthopedic services at one convenient location.”
The building is a partnership between the TCO Edina Property Company and Hegenes Properties. The architect on the project is Mohagen/Hansen and the general contractor is RJM Construction.

For the past 35 years they have specialized and have been successful in the ownership, renovation and management of apartment and commercial office buildings located in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Fargo, Duluth, Alexandria and St. Cloud.
