On April 22, 2009, Twin Cities Orthopedics was introduced in front of over 100 members of the Edina Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was a monthly general membership meeting and served as a great opportunity for Twin Cities Orthopedics to talk about the new orthopedic center of excellence currently being built in Edina.

The meeting was also attended by University of Minnesota, Director of Athletics, Joel Maturi. Maturi spoke about the current state of athletics at the University of Minnesota, as well as the new football stadium on campus. Twin Cities Orthopedics physician, J. Patrick Smith, M.D. currently serves as the team physician for the University of Minnesota football and wrestling teams.
