When you call to schedule an appointment, we will ask you questions so that we understand your condition, make sure to schedule enough time with the doctor for your appointment, and arrange an urgent visit if necessary. We will also verify billing information, making sure that we have the correct insurance information and that any referral requirements are met, so that your MOS experience unfolds as smoothly as possible. Please note that if you are currently without insurance, you will be expected to pay at the end of your visit. We require a $150 payment at the time of visit or a $400 deposit at the time of visit for fracture care. We offer a 10 percent discount for payment in full at time of service.
If you have had any tests or procedures performed in regards to the condition Dr. Kelly will be seeing you for, please arrange to bring the reports to your appointment. To request these records from elsewhere, you may be asked to complete a Records Request Form.
You will be greeted at the clinic by one of our receptionists, who will register you before showing you to an exam room. Then you will meet with your physician, who will review all previous treatments with you and discuss options appropriate for your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and other considerations.
At the end of your appointment, your doctor will make sure you have any prescriptions you need, instructions for self-care, or recommendations for next steps. You will also be encouraged at every visit to ask questions and express concerns you may have. Our allied professionals will help you schedule any necessary tests, including specialized x-rays such as MRIs and CT scans. They also will arrange follow-up appointments, as necessary, with your physician to discuss test results, mutually agree on a treatment plan, and implement treatment over days, weeks, or months as your plan requires.
Prescriptions
Prescriptions (including refills) are written only during clinic hours. We will call the prescription into a pharmacy of your choice. For refill requests, call your usual pharmacy. Please allow 24 hours for us to process refill requests.

Billing & Insurance

You are ultimately responsible for payment of your account.

Treatment
Our goal is to sufficiently resolve your condition to enable you to live a functional and active life. In building a relationship with you, reviewing your medical history, and evaluating diagnostic tests, your orthopaedist will determine the treatment options most appropriate to the particulars of your condition, medical history, and lifestyle needs. Treatment ranges from conservative options, such as a combination of medical counseling, physical or occupational therapy, and medications, to surgical options.
In many cases, patients may already have exhausted conservative treatment options with other providers. MOS hysicians are expert orthopaedic surgeons who can help patients determine if surgery offers the best opportunity for a successful outcome. Physicians will explain surgical options and procedures, which may involve a hospital stay or take place at a same-day surgery center. In all cases, patients can rely on MOS physicians to perform surgical operations using the latest and best techniques, facilities, and technology, and to maintain a close relationship with patients to ensure complete recovery.
