Steve started his career in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1970 as an orthotic and prosthetic technician. In the early years, he fabricated Milwaukee Braces for children with scoliosis, and made artificial limbs using the materials of the day, bass wood, leather, metal joints and polyester laminations.
Today, Steve is a Certified Pedorthist, specializing in custom foot orthotics, shoe modifications, knee braces and a variety of custom and off the shelf orthopedic appliances.
Steve is certified by the Board for Certification in Pedorthics (BCP), is a member of the Prescription Footwear Association and is a registered technician in prosthetics with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Steve also serves on the advisory board of the O/P program of Century College. He is a member in good standing with the BCP. |
