Dr. Heikes specializes in sports medicine, ACL reconstruction, patellar instability, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, running injuries, total knee arthroplasty and fracture care.

While at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Heikes competed in track and cross country. Her experience and continued activity level gives her a strong understanding of the unique challenges that face athletes and active females of all ages.

Education

Dr. Heikes earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Additionally, Dr. Heikes completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Minnesota Sports Medicine.
