| Practice Overview |
Cathy provides pre and post-operative Physical Therapy exercise instruction. She sees a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions which include fracture care with early range of motion instruction through to balance and proprioception and return to sport. Cathy also provides shoulder care and rehabilitation, both non-operative and operative cases. In addition, she follows all knee scopes and microfracture surgeries with appropriate rehabilitation protocols. For cervical/thoracic and lumbar pain patients, she provides home exercise programs. Cathy sees most patients following cortisone injections for appropriate mobility and muscle imbalance correction. Within our hand service line, she provides splinting and hand therapy. Cathy also coordinates rehabilitation with Ridgeview Medical Center and surrounding Physical Therapy clinics and nursing homes.
Cathy and her husband, James Carrabre, MD moved to Waconia in 1994 after Dr. Carrabre finished his residency in Family Practice. They have 4 children: Kailey, Alexander, Kelsey and Jordyn. They are a "speed skating" family: Cathy and all 4 kids compete both on the Short and Long Track, while Dr. Carrabre serves as one of the team physicians for US Speed Skating.

Cathy attended the University of Manitoba, Canada, where she obtained a bachelor of Physical Education and a bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation Physical Therapy (1992).
