David R. Anderson, MD is a board certified, sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. His special interests in sports injuries, arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, ACL reconstruction (primary and revision), shoulder instability and rotator cuff pathology, total joint replacement (knee, hip, and shoulder), and fracture care.
Dr. Anderson is a faculty member of the Orthopedic Sports Surgery Fellowship training program associated with Institute of Athletic Medicine (IAM) and Minnesota Sports Medicine (MSM). He is one of the preferred orthopedic provider of sports medicine care for student athletes of the Minnesota State High School League (MHSL), the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), and the National Sports Center (NSC)

Dr. Anderson graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine, in Omaha. He completed his residency at Northwestern University, in Chicago and a sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston.
