John T. Anderson, MD earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his orthopaedic residency at the same. Dr Anderson is Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
Dr. Anderson is a team physician for Hopkins High School and the Minnesota State High School League. He is a faculty member for the Minnesota Orthopedic Sports Medicine Institute and the Fairview Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and he is widely published on the topic of shoulder injury. Dr. Anderson was named outstanding orthopedist by the Mpls. St. Paul magazine in 1995 and 1996. He was also named a top doctor by Mpls. St. Paul magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Dr. Anderson has extensive experience and specializes in arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery with total joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder. His special medical interests include minimally invasive joint replacement, joint reconstruction of the upper and lower body, joint replacement, shoulder, knee & hip surgery, fracture care and sports medicine.
