Chris Meyer, MD, a sports medicine fellowship-trained surgeon, specializes in shoulder arthroscopy, hip resurfacing, arthroscopic reconstruction and minnimally invasive joint replacement.

Dr. Meyer recently received subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. 

Education

Dr. Meyer is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and also completed his orthopedic residency there. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship at Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia where he provided extensive sports team coverage at both collegiate and professional levels.

Dr. Meyer continues to cover sports teams locally at the high school and collegiate levels. He is the team physcian for the State Champion Glencoe-Silverlake High School team as well as Crown College.
