Twin Cities Orthopedics offers physical therapy and hand therapy at several locations throughout the metro area, to assist patients in their recovery and rehabilitation. Working closely with our physicians, our therapy staff specializes in orthopedic and sports conditions to provide excellent rehabilitation services. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology and equipment, and our therapists participate in numerous continuing education seminars to remain up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques.

Physical Therapy

Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care at the lowest possible cost to the patient, through a combination of home-based exercises and "in clinic" manual therapy.

Our physical therapy staff members are trained in many orthopedic and sports specialty areas. They are strength and conditioning specialists, athletic trainers, and orthopedic or sports clinical specialists as certified by the American Physical Therapy Association. We work as a team with our specialty physicians to provide rehabilitation for foot and ankle disorders, shoulder and elbow disorders, spine problems and hip and knee disorders. Our therapists are skilled in manual therapy techniques, and design individual exercise programs to expedite the rehabilitation process and maximize function.

Hand Therapy

Hand Therapy at Twin Cities Orthopedics caters primarily to acute and cumulative orthopedic and neurological trauma of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Services such as custom splinting, therapeutic exercises for range of motion and strength, and home exercise program instruction enhance and maximize function.

Our hand therapy team is comprised of specialty-trained occupational therapists who provide expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation and splinting. Some of our therapists are certified through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission Inc., by meeting extensive requirements and passing a certification exam.
